OUR STORY

We've been best friends and played music together for over 20 years.  We discovered our favorite guitar tones using high-end tube amps.  Not wanting to put our long sought after guitar amps on any of the cheap looking and constructed mass produced amp stands (which at the time were the only amp stands available) we set out to build our own.  One thing led to the next and we're still coming up with new ideas building the coolest amp stands in the world.

We wanted a hardwood amplifier stand that would easily support the heaviest amps and rival the craftsmanship of the finest guitar amps ever made. We remain focused on building amp stands that last a lifetime, are lightweight, fold closed, and showcase natural timbers.  We focus on building amp stands that retain value as well as any custom handmade guitar or hand wired amp. 

Because we use solid hardwood as our building material our amp stands reinforce the unique tones of the amplifiers they support.  Through the design process we've honed our woodworking skills and developed numerous types of amp stands. We build the absolute finest amp stands in the world to match specific amplifier dimensions, all handcrafted to meet unique customer specifications. Nobody else in the world offers this.

We appreciate the multidimensional nature of the amp stand build process.  We have the opportunity every day to get to know our customers, to practice our craft, to share our interests in music and to make our amp stands out of the coolest musical and organic resource that surrounds us, hardwoods.  Of course, we also love using our amp stands when we have time to play music.  We enjoy participating in their design evolution, and it thrills us to send them to new owners, knowing they will last a lifetime and be handed down through generations.  The gratification we get out of the whole process is measureless.

We take our social responsibility very seriously. Atlas Stands are made of biodegradable lumber. Our build process does not harm our environment.  The Atlas Amp Stand community is growing with a common demand and appreciation for exceptional guitar gear that comes with unsurpassed customer service and support.  We've set ourselves far apart from the mass produced amp stand manufacturers; we settle for nothing less than tonal, functional and aesthetic excellence.  There are no unhappy Atlas Stands owners, and we intent to keep it that way.

PHOTO: The picture shown up top was taken from right outside our wood shop. We love it out here.  We try to spend as much time outdoors as we can, and the mountains and agriculture lend themselves nicely to camping, hiking, fishing, climbing, and just getting out into nature. Life is good.

It is our honor to release our Atlas Amp Stands out into the world of musicians.  We've found that all Atlas Stand Owners enjoy their stands as much as we do!
